AAU believes that families belong together. We stand against the notion that there are those who belong and do not belong here. We stand against policies of hate, xenophobia, racism, and fear mongering. We will not sit by as our communities are torn apart. As we see increasing hate rhetoric and attacks on immigrant communities, AAU is engaging in work to educate community members about their rights, connecting them  to reliable legal resources, and pushing for local policies that aim to keep our communities safe.
