Founded in 2015 by a group of Muslim women in the North Loop of Minneapolis, Reviving the Islamic Sisterhood for Empowerment (RISE) bridges the gap between faith and storytelling, leadership development, and advocacy, centering the voices and lived experience of Muslim women.

RISE creates a space—for Muslim women, by Muslim women—centering their voices and our lived experiences in order to impact change in their communities.
